I'm a mummy of two energetic boys, a keen runner and love all things pink. I started out as a university graduate with a degree in Airline & Airport Management. I found out very quickly that the airport environment wasn't as glamorous as I first imagined it would be, so I decided to change my career early on and trained as a bookkeeper at an accountancy firm. I loved every minute of my job, and I quickly developed and perfected my skill.
Fast forward a few years. My family moved from Staffordshire to Cumbria when they purchased a hotel and I was asked if I would like to be a part of an amazing opportunity; of course, I packed my bags and ran to the beautiful Lake District where I became a General Manager for over 10 years. This was when I realised the skills I required to be successful in my role. I had already gained customer service and accounting skills, I soon became experienced in Event Management, Conference Management, and coordinated many weddings and functions. I then felt that I needed to combat the world of digital marketing to drive the hotel forward into today's world. I signed up for a professional qualification in digital marketing and decided to design the hotel a new website.
I quickly found out that I not only had a 'thing' for people and numbers but also had quite a creative flair. So, I continued to create more content on the WordPress platform and became competent in social media content, SEO, Google Analytics and AdWords. I recently left the family business to spend more time with my sons, and this was when Virtual Miss A was born. I have the knowledge, experience and expertise to help you drive your business.
